Continuing to work on wait times. Currently in the process of revamping the phone scripts. Please follow the script if you are making appointments. We need to find out what’s wrong with it.
Crosslinking – Now FDA approved to be done with the epithelium on.
Lasik numbers are down across the country. Offer Lasik evaluations at the front desk and as you are working up a patient. If you notice a patient has droppy lids, tell them about Bleph.
Make sure you are coming to work on time and on time for the morning huddles. We can’t be on time if we start late.
OSHA meeting will be next month.

Bathrooms – Please check the bathroom before you exit. Make sure it is clean. Do not overuse the air freshener. It can make the floor slippery.
Kaitlyn and Karen help with DDS Forms. The forms cannot be faxed directly to the DDS. Karen to contact patient after Kaitlyn completes form.
If you see a lightbulb out, please let Hallie know. If we do not have correct bulbs, Lorena can order.
Nametags are part of the uniform. If you have a white jacket, that is your uniform. Make sure they are on.
If you have an IT issue that is urgent please tell Maddie, Lorena, or myself. For non-urgent IT concerns, please write it on the IT notepad in the back office. If something is not working, please don’t assume someone has already told us. Let me know.
Our phone vendor was hacked a few weeks ago. Our information was not compromised. Please be cautious as you click weird or unfamiliar screens on the computers.
Dr. O’Shea – Techs, please make sure to save cataract measurements in the correct format. Watch correct name.
Mandy – Will work with Beth on scripts to introduce Lasik to patients who are within parameters. Crosslinking is going well – still navigating insurance

Daelyn – If you are unsure of your results for taped/untaped, please call me to double check. Bleph referrals need t be sent to DES or Daelyn Stone. Please use LTD for bleph evaluations and CAT EVAL for cataract evaluations on the CON schedule.
