We are proud to have you on our staff! Now let’s get started. There is some basic reading material which will help orient you to our office.
Much of your first week will be spent learning about the functions of the office and what the positions of your co-workers encompass. This process will help you see how you and your job fit into the big picture. It will also help you get to know your fellow staff members, and will make you more sensitive to the needs and demands of their jobs. We work as a team. Everyone is here to teach and everyone is here to learn. In the weeks to come, you will realize how much your successful performance depends on the successful performance of your co-workers.
Each department has a training program. You will be partnered with a staff member who will teach the elements of your job functions. Please take notes and treat even the simplest of task with your full attention as things ultimately affect a patient’s quality of care.
