Equal Employment Opportunity Statement

It is our policy to afford equal opportunity as required by law to all qualified persons and applicants for employment, based on their qualifications without regard to race, color, sex, religion, national origin, physical disabilities, age, or veteran status. This obligation includes recruitment, advertising, solicitation for employment, hiring, training, education, placement, promotion, transfers, demotion and termination, compensation and benefits, social and recreational activities.

Staff Philosophy

Our office is dedicated to providing our patients with the highest quality ophthalmological care. Every decision and every action by our employees should be aimed toward this goal. We believe that our patients are our most important asset. Without them we would have no purpose. We place great importance on remembering our patients’ names and on treating them with courtesy, fairness, and respect. We believe that our employees are the heart of our practice. The qualities which they convey to our patients have an impact much greater than our office decor, our building, or our equipment. We believe that there is no place for rudeness by members of our staff. The ability to remain cheerful under pressure is equally important as attaining the maximum technical skill. We should strive at all times to be gracious and accommodating, both to our patients and to our fellow employees.

It is our desire to have only staff members who will work together with a sincere spirit of cooperation and teamwork. We believe this is a key ingredient not only in the success of our practice but in promoting a pleasant and rewarding work environment for our employees as well. We want our practice to be at the forefront of our profession.
