Working and Office Hours

Office hours will be scheduled by the Practice Administrator and physicians. Generally, the office will be open as follows:

  • Monday: 8:00 am – 5:00 pm,
  • Tuesday: from 8:00 am – 8:00 pm,
  • Wednesday: 8:00 am – 5:00 pm,
  • Thursday: 8:00 am – 8:00 pm,
  • Friday: 8:00 am – 5:00 pm
  • Saturday: 9:00 am – 1:00 pm

Employee work schedules will vary between employees to cover these extended hours and may change from time to time. The work week is generally based on 40 hours. You are expected to arrive on time ready to work.

Everyone is entitled to a lunch period to be taken at a time least likely to interfere with patient scheduling. The lunch period is one hour, which will be rotated by employees, generally between 11:30 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. Lunch schedules will be determined by the Practice Administrator. Lunch time cannot be substituted for early leaving at the end of the day (unless prior approval is granted).

Personal Hygiene

Make-up should not be excessive and applied at home, not at a desk or in the patient area. Nails should be well kept and trimmed. No gum chewing. Breath mints are permitted as we should all be aware of bad breath problems and how they affect patient care. Hair should be neat, clean and combed with an appropriate style. Wearing perfumes, colognes, or scented lotions should be done in moderation. Some scents cause adverse responses in people.
