Pay Period

All employees are paid bi-weekly. Pay periods run from Monday to Saturday. Pay will be by direct deposit. Time and one half will be paid on all approved hours worked over 40. No overtime will be paid unless prior authorization has been given. All compensation will be subject to federal, state, and city withholding based on the information supplied by the employee.

The amount of money an employee receives as wages is a very personal matter. Discussion of wages among employees is discouraged and is grounds for dismissal. Wage increases will be based on the general economic climate, the economic condition of the corporation and the quality of your work, along with the attitude and motivation of the employee. Wage and performance reviews generally will be done yearly.

Dismissal & Termination

If dismissal is necessary, severance pay in lieu of notice may be paid. However, any gross violation of rules or dishonesty could cause immediate discharge without notice and without severance pay.

If you decide to terminate your own employment, we request a written resignation at least two weeks prior to the effective date. Up to two weeks of accumulated vacation will be paid to you at the time of your leaving if the requested written notice of resignation is given. If no written 2 week resignation is submitted, you will not be eligible for PTO payout.
