Dr. Richard Carlin – Great to see everyone again. Welcome new staff: Betty, Olivia F., Andrea, Belle, Alex, and Daphne.

Employees should be entering through the back door when coming in the building using their own keycard. If you have misplaced or lost your keycard, please let me know so we can replace it.

If you are interested in getting your free pair of glasses, come see me for the form. Then see Betty, Scott, or James in the Optical Boutique.

Notify myself or Millie if there is any broken equipment. Please do not assume someone else has already informed us.

Lots of birthdays and anniversaries in the 3rd quarter. Enjoy pizza at lunch time to celebrate.

Lasik – Special going on, as well as employee contest coming up. The more referrals, the more prizes you can win.

General – Addresses, emails, and phone numbers should be updated as patients come into the office. Remove any incorrect/old information and update it with the new information.

Reviews are done. I hope everyone got something out of their review. Keep learning and adapting. Patients are our top priority. Show empathy and compassion for patients. Work life balance is good – make healthy choices and take care of yourself.

Please fill the doctor’s schedules. Use all open spaces. We want to keep our patients here. Return appointments don’t have to be on an exact date unless stated otherwise.

If patients are waiting in the lobby, let them know they can visit optical while they wait.

Counselors to give Enisa routing sheets for hospital surgeries.

Lots of optical changes! New manager Betty starts on July 3rd. Employees will now get 1 free pair of glasses after 90 days. Check with Scott and James to see which frames qualify.

No office meeting in July or August.

If a patient’s comments make make you feel unsafe, let the physician know immediately. If not available, inform myself or Amy.

Amy – Employee folders are in the cabinet outside my office. Please check for memos and clean out regularly.

Certified technicians can now register for the Academy. It is in October and will be held in San Francisco.

Changes to piercing policy: Nose piercings can now be exposed. Stud piercings only. Septum piercings must be flipped inward or hidden, but no longer require face masks.

Allie – Current special is up to $800 off.

Maddie – Let me know if we are running low on any supplies or if you take the last of an item.

Lasik – Special is $1,000 off. Please come and get us if patients are interested. We can come to them.
