October Meeting Notes

Dr. Richard Carlin – Welcome new hires Avery, Bailey, and Tehya.

We want patients’ expectations to be met. We should be compassionate and empathetic towards patients. Listen and give patients full attention so we can provide thorough exams. If a patient asks you as questions you are unsure about – that is okay. Let them know you will find out the answers to their questions.

We are entering the busy season. Dr. O’Shea will be out on maternity leave and other physicians may be out on vacation. It is okay to get patients in now rather than later. Please fill the schedules. If a physician’s schedule is running into the lunch hour, please see if someone can go to lunch early.

Take a look at your work stations. Please declutter and clean out areas.

Bring up bleph to patients. Some patients are shy or embarrassed. Let them know we can take care of their droopy lids for them.
