Dr. C:  Good Morning! Welcome Brianna (front desk) and Brandi (technician).

Only 2 weeks until end of year. Busier than ever. Patients want in before end of year. Working extra days and hours to accommodate. Make patients’ experience pleasant.

Thank you to all who attended the Christmas party. Venue was different and hard to visit everyone.

Docs gave their speech that they normally would do at Christmas party in office meeting.
Dr. Thornhill:  Thank you. You are like an extended family to me.
Dr. Bennett-Sims:  Appreciate all your hard work.
Dr. DeRosa:  Thank you all.
Dr. Modi:  You all make me feel welcome. Love coming to work even though I drive an hour to get here.
Dr. DC:  Had health scare but all is good. Thankful to have another day.

Time sheets – add holiday hours, print and sign.

Bleph referrals spreadsheet in breakroom. Mention bleph to patients, get easy money.

Thank you to staff who stayed and helped decorate the office.

Congrats to Pod 3 who won the Mini Tree Decorating Contest. Received goodie bags. Loved the creativity and competitiveness.

Scott:  Dessert Bake-off – 1^st place goes to Allie and 2^nd place to Abigail. Will do Taste of CarlinVision early next year.

Cataracts:  Make space for patients that need surgery.

Retina, Contacts:  Good.

Optical:  Busy. Congrats to Avril who received her ABO with mentoring and training from Miranda.

Lasik:  Extending $800 off special through January.

Insurance:  Front desk- always check insurance and Medicare cards numbers.

Busy season – shorter tempers – stress.  Be more careful to accommodate patients. Working more hours so if you want some overtime let Amy know.

Patients with post-surgery problems get in asap.

Walk-in evals for Bleph/Lasik welcome. Send to counselors.

Everyone help each other as a team.

Dr. Modi – retina only – no routine exams. Takes no vision insurance, only medical.

OCT/visual fields need to be reviewed. Testing ordered. Type in box. (scribes)

Cataract surgery – prescribe steroid & antibiotic. Premium patient gifts made & ready.

Techs – visual fields – switch to Sitafast 24-2.

OCT – mac degen – 21 line scan.

Pod/dept mini tree contest – complete by Dec. 6^th. Patients vote on facebook. Winner announced at Dec. 13^th office meeting.

Christmas party at the Sun Dial in Atlanta Dec. 6^th 7:00. Shuttle service. Sign up by Nov. 15^th in breakroom. Show of hands for Secret Santa gift exchange. Hannah & Vanessa will organize.

Testing: all STAT schedule with Lottie or Hannah.
