Dr. Richard Carlin – Welcome technician Jasmine. There is a new update from the CDC regarding Covid – employees can return to work after being fever free for 24 hours. Covid is now being treated like any other sickness. PTO now must be used for absence due to Covid.

During this short staffed period, please be kind to patients and coworkers. If you see something that needs to be done in the office or cleaned up, please take the time to help.

Parking lot has been redone. Carpets will be cleaned this Saturday.

Optical – Cartier has already started selling! Employees can purchase Cartier at cost – see Betty for details.

Contacts – Officially had our first MySight patient. We now have a frame for photographs for contact lens wearers. If you see a patient that would be good for it, let us know so we can take a picture.

Surgical Counselors – Please make sure the patients are on the CON schedule. For bleph evals, schedule between 8am-10am and 1pm-3pm. Testing will be done.

Lasik – It’s National Scratch Off Day! Tickets will be passed out. If you have an eye ball you are the winner. Small lasik signs should be in all exam rooms. If you have any suggestions for prizes you would like to win, please let us know.

Dr. David Carlin – We are looking for more people. Get your $300 referral incentive.

Maddie – Don’t forget to click the cone on your computer to start slideshows in the morning. If you notice any issues with slideshows, computers, or tvs, please let me know first thing in the morning so that we can troubleshoot as soon as possible. We have discussed pickle ball or doing something fun together outside of work. If you have any other suggestions for something closer please let me know.

Dr. Richard Carlin: We are hiring for all departments. $300 bonus for referring a new employee after 60 days.

Glasses problems? Please have patient see optical before scheduling with the doctor.

Eye Care America – Program for patients 65 years and up who have not had an eye exam in the past 3 years. If the patient has insurance, we can bill the insurance, but may not collect copays from the patient. Does not cover surgical procedures.

Please refer to Holli, Destiny, Daelyn, and Erika as surgical counselors. If patients have recently had surgery and call with an issue, transfer to a surgical counselor.

We now offer SLT – a new treatment for Glaucoma. Treatment is an alternative to drops.

Amy – July is open enrollment for 401k. Please see me to sign up or make changes to a current plan.

Before pulling a translator, please make sure patient actually does need one.

The yellow forms are working. Please look over them and use as a talking point for the patients and the doctor. Easy way to get referral $.

Vanessa – Refill toilet paper and paper towels if needed. If you don’t know how, I can show you.

Maddie – If you’re interested in joining the marketing team please let me know. We meet once a month for 6 months.

Optical – New thinner lenses available. Cartier coming soon! We will be one of 5 vendors in Georgia. We are having a flash sale next week for National Sunglasses day. 50% off sunglasses frames with purchase of prescription lenses. It will be June 24th-June 28th.

Retina – If you are scheduling a new retina patient, please give them a folder to prepare them for their first visit.

Surgical counselors – Erika will be sharing an office with Destiny. If you can’t get IOL, please get A-Scan.
