November Meeting Notes

Dr. Richard Carlin: Thankful for all staff – everyone is doing a really great job.

The Christmas lunch will be December 14th. The end of the year party will be January 20th. We will close the office at 12pm that day. The celebration is staff only and tentatively at 550 Trackside in Lawrenceville.

Payouts: (Lasik) – Bree, Courtney, Hallie, Brandi, Stacy, Karen, Mirnesa, Ashleigh, Michaela.

(Blephs): Anna, Ale, Kellen, Ashleigh, Destiny, Bree, Hailey, Michaela, Autumn, Rebecca, Alexus, Karen, Alex.

Keep Dr. Willman’s father in your prayers. He should be returning next week.

Amy: Sweet treats on December 7th to celebrate birthdays and anniversaries. Please turn in insurance forms by November 18th.

Zack (insurance): We will switch to United Healthcare this year. Information on plans in blue folders.

Dave (profit sharing/401k): Consider setting money aside for retirement. Amy has information if needed.

Maddie: Great job with bleph and lasik referrals. Courtney wins the bleph referral gift basket. Karen wins the lasik referral gift basket.

Christmas Tree Contest teams and dates are posted on Team Carlin and in the breakroom.

Christmas Decorating sign up sheet posted in the breakroom – November 29th after work.

Vanessa will be organizing secret santa this year. Sign up sheet is in Maddie’s office.

September Notes 2022

Staff

Dr. Richard Carlin – We’re into the busy time of the year. Use open slots in schedule as needed, including CEX.

Dr. Raj will be filling in to help accommodate patients.

We are considering opening early to get through the end of the year – please let Amy know if you cannot be here earlier.

Update on Dr. Tyler – She is done with Chemo and doing better. If you are refilling RX for her patients, send the refill under Dr. Richard Carlin.

Eye Care of America – We treat these patients free of charge with the exception of cosmetic procedures. Standard surgeries are covered. Upgrades and surgery fees still apply.

Thanksgiving lunch is November 9th. We will have a Christmas lunch in the office in December and an end of the year party in January.

Amy – Practice the 3 C’s: Care, Compassion, and Cindness. Greet patients, listen to patients, explain tests as you are working up patients, etc.

Limit phone use around patients and be mindful of conversations.

If you call out, turn PTO form in for that time and write it in your time sheet. Time sheets due by Friday at 5pm.

Wear name tags or white lab coats – let Amy know if you need your name tag replaced.

Compulink will update Saturday 9/24 – watch for errors on Monday.

If you are blocking a doctor’s schedule be sure to let Amy know.

If adding notes to daily doctor’s schedule, please include your initials.

Aflac – reimbursement is based on employee’s salary at the time you enrolled. Don’t forget to update your salary if it has changed. New rep. information will be posted in the breakroom.

Q3 Birthdays/Anniversaries will be celebrated on Tuesday with cupcakes.

Care Credit – let Diana know if the password is being changed.

Maddie – Two week bleph referral contest begins today. Refer someone for a consultation and be entered into a drawing to win a gift basket.

Pumpkin Decorating Contest – Submit your team of 4 or less to Maddie by Friday. Pumpkins are due by October 6th. Voting will take place on social media and upon display in the lobby – prize for group with the most votes.
