September Meeting Notes

Dr. Richard Carlin –

Welcome Sher, Sarah, Leslie, Gianna, Haley, Madelyn, and Jessie! We are still looking to hire for staff.

As you know, there was an issue with a new Optician. Our consultants refer employees to us and there was some undisclosed information. Maddie did a great job reaching out to the right people. Thank you for everyone’s support in sticking up for CarlinVision. It was heartwarming.

We are here to provide not only the patients with a great experience, but also the staff. Everyone is part of the CarlinVision family. If there are any issues, please bring it to our attention and we will handle the situation. There is no room for discrimination of any form.

As we enter the end of the year, we will get busier. Please get patients in now instead of waiting. No longer passing out the yellow sheets.

Congratulations Alexus! She will be going to PA school in January.

We continue to do trainings so all staff will continue to grow and learn.

Payouts – Dr. RC: Bethani, Brianna, Karen, Bree, Rebecca, Cindy, Michaela, Brandi, Stacy, Mirnesa. Dr. DC: Lorena, Alexus. Dr. Tyler: Alexus, Kimberly, Jenny. Dr. O’Shea: Bethani.

Amy – If you see alerts, please read and take action required. When finished, please expire.

We have a back line number and a main number which both ring the same coming through. Please answer the phone “CarlinVision, this is ______ how can I help you?”

As we get busier, please notify the front desk if the POD is running behind.

Lasik – We are passing out candy and CarlinVision bucks!

Cataracts – Booked into November. Please get cataract patients in soon so we can schedule them for this year.

Oculoplastics – Bleph is doing great. If you are unsure of accuracy of testing, please let me know. Do not schedule bleph evals with Dr. O’Shea due to her maternity leave.

Betty – Welcome Jessie! Thanks to technicians for walking patients over and getting them signed in.

Maddie – We are actively working with compulink to fix all issues in the software. Thank you for sending over error codes and I’m sorry you are all having to deal with this. If your exam room is missing Lasik eval signs, please let me know.
