Good Morning!

Been busy, working hard, all doing a good job.

Problem patients – please note what the problem is.

Chronic issue with wait times. Think about ways we can improve.

Complicated patient problems – talk to doctor when scheduling patient so as to allow more time and not bog down schedule.

Thank you for only scheduling Lasik patients in the morning the day after Lasik.

MIPS: Glaucoma – document looking at optic nerve yearly, don’t just put number. Diabetic – comment on retinopathy/macula, etc. Report diagnosis in chart yearly. Tobacco – ask and document yearly.

Dr. Bennett- Sims:
TrueTear device to increase volume of your own tears for several hours.

BlephX lid cleaning device coming in the future.

Recommend LipiFlow for chronic blepharitis, chalazions also, as well as dry eye.

Amy:
Road work starting on 124. If issues around building on Sat., let road crew know we are open.

Aflac on Aug. 21st 11:30 to 1:30. Sign up in breakroom. If here 90 days, you are eligible.

IT – set times are 1st and 3rd Tuesday of month. Simple things can wait until then. Put on list in Donna’s office. PCs or printers down, let Amy know.

Don’t open email attachments from people you don’t know. Can cause a virus.

Patient portal – patients/family cannot share an email address.

Ask for email addresses again. Many opted out with Kiosk.

Keep volume down when exiting for lunch in business area. They may still be working or on phone. Keep down in pods also.

Breakroom – CLEAN UP AFTER YOURSELF! Load dishwasher, etc. Do your assigned coffee duty.

Technicians – if issue with scrubs such as tears/holes let Amy know. Replace shoes when worn.

COA/COT techs – Academy Chicago in Oct. – let Amy know if you want to go so she can purchase airline tickets.

Per Enisa – remove your extra dishes in the kitchen cabinets so there is more room.

CL trial lenses – return to contacts, do not leave in pods.

Megan H, Kathy, Diana, Megan M: All good. Oculoplastics doing very well this year.

Cataracts: Doing good. Gifts for premium patients have names on tags. Make sure you give to appropriate patient. When you put patient in consult room for cataracts let the counselors know.

Optical: A lot of patients asking for drops. Do not have them in optical. Patients paying online for glasses, will discuss with Cathy on how to know they did.

Kristen: Going well. Still waiting on façade construction. Has been approved with city.

Marketing: Bleph special $600 off cosmetic thru September. Rebates in contacts.
