Dr. RC: Good Morning!

Welcome to new people: Reagan, Neely, Katie, Kathy, and Brittany.

Dr. Willman has been here 1 year.

Dr. Richard Carlin told the story of how the practice began.

When scheduling a patient for second eye cataract surgery please be sure to document that it is the second eye.

We are having issues with PQRS and Diabetic letters. We will talk about the letters at the tech meeting.

The current promotions – Bleph referral contest, next month $1,000 off special; Lasik- BYO BFF.

Eddie (Trisha’s husband) is doing better and is in a room, he has a very long road ahead of him. Trisha is doing well and has been very strong through it all.

When patients come in with glasses issues they need to go to optical first.

The name of the Patient Experience Team is changing to Patient Care Management. They are entrusted to take care of our patients. We want to make this the best experience for our patients; their job is to manage the patients care.

As we get busy pay attention to charts and ask DOB.

Now that we hit October we now document flu vaccine.

We have flu shots for employees.

Change ICD-10 in October new codes for Mac Degen, diabetes, and open angel glaucoma. Medicare will not pay incorrect category, we must starting now add the correct digit.
