Dr. Willman- Ophthalmologist who moved here from NC. He grew up in Missouri on a farm. He came from a practice of 3 doctors and 2 PAs. He hopes to get to know each of us more.
We have a new tech- Lauren Young- Welcome to her.
ICD10 is a work in progress. Psuedophakia there is no eye/legend. The routing slip will change over time.
We had a great first day! If you have any problems please tell someone so we can work on it together, The main thing is accidents are a lot more complicated.
Techs – we need consents for all in office surgery.
Problem last month- we don’t care if employees make mistakes but we cannot have not telling the truth. Just be up front with us about it. Don’t Lie!!!!
In October we are going to start getting busier. The phones as well as everything else, the more people we can see now the more it will help us at the end of the year. We just have to use our time wisely.

BIG CHANGE: Correction sheets use to be due on Monday at 8:00am, we are changing to Friday at 5:00pm or before you leave.
It is the season to begin getting rates for benefits. The census Lauren has been collecting is to use in order to get the best rates. When the agent pulls quotes, they use the data of ages, # of participates and gender to get the best rates for us. Rates we have now will not change unless we are able to find better rates and if so we will change.

The holiday party is scheduled for December 11, 2015 at 7:00pm, It will be held at Violettes. Transportation Details to come.
Holiday Schedule – 11/28: Day after Thanksgiving 9:00am-1:00pm. Christmas Eve and News Years Eve 9:00 am- 12:00pm
New COAs- Megan Haynes and Ashleigh Gordon The reason we do the COA is it helps the practice and it helps the employee progress. We are putting in place a new requirement that you must work for 1 year after we pay for the test or you pay us $150 out of your last check.
Cataracts- we are already very busy and would like to thank everyone for their help.
Lasik- Please put your first and last name in for referrals, the Christmas special is getting ready to start being advertised.
Optical- getting a new dispensing table in the middle were the glass table currently is to hopefully help to alleviate the wait time for optical customers.
